The future rock artist was born on November 20, 1964. Even in his early years, his parents began to notice the boy's creative abilities: he loved to sing along with songs from the TV and even tried to play his father's guitar. In this regard, at the age of 15, Andrei's mother enrolled in a music school in one of the music schools near Moscow, where he received the necessary musical education and, moreover, began to participate in concerts, playing drums.
A little later, his family moved to Moscow, where an endless sea of opportunities opened up for Andrey Mitin, a young and promising person.
Work and creativity
Since 1985, Andrei Petrovich has been trying to join any rock group. And he did it. In 1985, the drummer becomes part of the Black Coffee group, and in 1987 he was invited to take part in a concert tour of the Mirror of the World group. It was there that he first met Pavel Alekseevich Molchalov. This acquaintance will become fateful. After all, it was Pavel who in 1987 will create the Time-Out rock group, into which he will invite Andrei Mitin already in 1990.
It was at Time-Out that the talented drummer fully revealed his potential. As he himself later admits, his friends and colleagues Alexander Minaev, Evgeny Chernyakov, Roman Mukhachev and Sergey Stepanov had an immeasurably great influence on him. They especially helped him cope with depression after the death of his parents in a road accident.
Time Out is not just a group. Its members became the founders and distributors of a new style of motology invented by them. Andrei Mitin also had a significant influence on this.

Also important are the songs, in the recording and performance of which Andrei Petrovich took part. So, the most popular compositions on the discs of his groups were "Pancakes with Sour Cream", "Sexton", "Medical Equipment", "Mu-Mu", "Yohan Pavlovich Forever", "Cabbage", "Chasing a Long Ruble", "Live collection”and“Victims of Science Fiction”. They were recorded between 1992 and 2010.
Personal life
The first wife of Andrei Mitin, Anastasia Gerkova, whom the musician met in 1995, did not particularly support the work of her beloved, so she left him. Since then, the famous drummer has not had a serious relationship. Of course, there were acquaintances with the most persistent fans, but it never came to marriage.
Despite the fact that Andrei Mitin has no children of his own, he has a great love for children. Therefore, he sends most of the income from concerts, which he still conducts at the age of 55, to orphanages.
