The boy learned to read early and could sit for hours at a time. When Osipov was seven years old, he was enrolled in a regular school. He liked studying and attended classes with great pleasure. Oleg did not like staying at home.
In high school, Oleg and a friend once came to a literary association class in the pioneers' house. A few days later, each participant was asked to write a note about an interesting event. Oleg wrote about how he and his classmates collected scrap metal. Quite unexpectedly for a novice author, the article was published on the pages of the city newspaper "Voice of Labor". The editor noted the clearly expressed thought and mature style of presentation of the material. From that moment, Oleg began to take classes in a literary studio very seriously.
Professional activity
When the time came to choose a profession, Osipov had already decided everything. Having received a certificate of maturity, he went to receive education at the journalism department of Moscow State University. At home, the choice of the young man was approved. Oleg showed a sincere interest in all disciplines that were included in the training program. Studied biographies of famous domestic and foreign reporters. In the senior years, students underwent practical training on television, in the editorial offices of newspapers and magazines. In 1991, Osipov received a diploma with honors and came to work for Channel One television.
For the first six months Osipov traveled around the cities and villages, collecting information for news programs. In the early 90s, events took place every day, the meaning of which was not always clear. Oleg had to understand the intricacies of what was happening and make up the news feed accordingly. The management of the TV company appreciated the analytical skills of the young journalist. Osipov was appointed one of the hosts of the popular program "Up to 16 and older …". From the very beginning, the program began to occupy the top lines of the ratings.
Then Osipov was instructed to "pull out" the programs "Gallop across Europe" and "Together". Responding to the requests of the youth audience, he conducted a serious journalistic investigation into the causes of the spread of drugs. The reports shown on television caused a violent reaction. Osipov received the International Interpol Prize for his coverage of the fight against drugs. When communicating with his peers, Oleg suddenly realized that many of them do not understand the essence and meaning of the ongoing changes in the economy. This "discovery" prompted him to shoot the corresponding series "ABVGD Ltd", which was shown on TV since 1992 for two years.
On the production trail
On television, as in other sectors of the economy, commercial approaches and mechanisms were introduced. Funding for programs from government subsidies was reduced to a minimum. There was an urgent need to attract financial resources from outside. It was getting harder and harder to be the host. And then Oleg Osipov, together with Timur Weinstein, established the LEAN-M Production Center. The debut was not easy. However, creativity and enthusiasm helped to overcome all the obstacles that arose. Oleg was looking for sponsors, and Timur was looking for promising projects.
Osipov, after a detailed market research, inclined to engage in television series. For the start, the producer chose a project called "Soldiers". Already in the first season, there were more positive responses about the film than negative ones. Further, the process, as they say, went with acceleration. The series was broadcast on TV for nine seasons. The comedy "Happy Together" was of great interest to the audience. Then came the series "Students". And this list continues.
Personal life scenario
It so happened that Oleg Osipov twice registered relations with women. The first marriage broke up, despite the fact that the spouses had a daughter, Dasha. Who was right and who was guilty, history is silent. In 2006, the TV presenter and producer created a family with the singer under the screen name Utah.
According to the reviews of friends and relatives, Oleg was happily married. The family has three children - the eldest son Anatoly and the younger twins Katya and Masha. The husband and wife spent all their free time with the children. Unfortunately, the happiness was short. In September 2011, Oleg Osipov died suddenly from cardiac arrest.
