Anna Shilova is a famous Soviet TV presenter, announcer, Honored Artist of the RSFSR. She was extremely popular and in demand, but her fate was not very successful.
Childhood, adolescence
Anna Shilova was born on March 15, 1927 in Novorossiysk. She grew up in a prosperous family, but the childhood of the future television star could not be called easy. When Anna was a teenager, the war broke out. She did not like to remember these years.
Shilova studied in an ordinary school and from an early age demonstrated her talents. Anya was an active, cheerful child. Relatives said that she could become an actress. These words gave her hope. Anna decided after graduation to enter the Perm Theater School. After his successful graduation, she decided to move to the capital, since the provincial actors had little chance of building a career.
Career
In Moscow, Anna began working at the Film Actor's Studio Theater. It was created during the war years in order to provide employment for professional artists. She worked at the Shilova Theater until 1956.
While working in the studio theater, Anna sometimes acted in films. She was invited to play small roles in the paintings:
- "New house";
- "On the Stage of the Stage";
- "In our city".
In the film "On the Stage of the Stage" Shilov was not even credited. Anna Nikolaevna dreamed of high-profile roles, but this was not destined to come true. At the age of 20, the actress was diagnosed with a terrible disease. She was diagnosed with tuberculosis of the spine. This was the consequence of a difficult childhood. Shilova was banned from working and given a disability, but she did not give up. Anna Nikolaevna continued her professional activity and was treated. She had to forget about serious roles in the cinema, but after she gave up her career, she still received offers to take part in several films. Shilova's play can be seen in the pictures:
- "From New York to Yasnaya Polyana";
- "October";
- "In the first hour";
- "The tallest".
Most of the roles were episodic and Anna did not achieve success as a film actress. In 1956, dramatic changes took place in her life. She decided to try her hand at television. In the studio "Ostankino" a selection of announcers was carried out and Shilova successfully passed all the tests. The competition was serious. About 500 people applied for the 1st place. When Anna found out that she was enrolled in the Ostankino state, she was very happy. She quit working in the theater, filming in films completely and without regret.
At the beginning of her television career, Anna Shilova hosted information and sports programs. She also voiced some programs. In "Kinopanorama" her voice sounded off-screen.
In the early 70s of the last century, Anna began leading the Blue Light program. After that, she became even more popular. The audience loved her for her professionalism and openness. Shilova conducted programs in such a way that it was interesting to watch them for everyone, regardless of age. Anna had her own style and a great sense of humor. For many Soviet women, her appearance was the standard of elegance and beauty. She was admired and even envied, strived to be like her. Her demeanor in public, conducting a conversation evoked delight.
From 1971 to 1975, Shilova was the host of the "Blue Light" program, paired with Igor Kirillov. There were not very many presenters at that time and Anna Nikolaevna, along with some other colleagues, became symbols of Soviet television. Anna Shilova has worked in television for over 40 years. She was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR and awarded the medal "For Labor Valor".
Personal life
Anna Shilova worked on the release of television song evenings with Igor Kirillov. This union was so long and harmonious that many considered them a couple. In Soviet times, it was not customary to advertise personal life. In fact, Anna Nikolaevna was connected with Kirillov only by work and friendly relations.
The popular presenter married during her student years to Junior Shilov, who at that time was studying at VGIK. They got married a few months after they met, and Anna took his last name, which later became famous. The union turned out to be very strong and successful. Each of the spouses went about their business. Anna worked on television, and her husband wrote scripts and played on the stage of Lenkom. The marriage was marred only by the absence of children. Shilova's first pregnancy was unsuccessful, but after many years she still gave birth to a son, Alexei.
Alexey Shilov followed in the footsteps of his mother and also became an announcer, but his life and the life of Anna Nikolaevna ended sadly. During the years of perestroika, Shilova left television. She could have worked further, but she began to feel that she could not remain as interesting for the viewer as before. In an interview, the presenter admitted that she would like to be remembered young and cheerful, with a burning look.
Despite the success and fame in the past, Anna Shilova lived the rest of her life in poverty and oblivion. She devoted herself to family and caring for her granddaughter Masha. Son Alexei began to abuse alcohol and even raised his hand to his mother. Daily experiences, poverty undermined Shilova's health and in 2001 she died after struggling with a serious illness. Many people attended the funeral, including her colleagues. Igor Kirillov made sure that everything went at a high level. Anna Nikolaevna was buried at the Troekurovsky cemetery in Moscow.
