The unique fate of the popular Russian actress Lyudmila Nilskaya divided her life into "before" and "after". It was immigration to the United States at the peak of its own popularity after the collapse of the Soviet Union that became that frontier in her creative and family life, which turned them "upside down", but failed to destroy the enormous creative potential. After returning to Moscow, the famous film actress was able to restore her professional reputation in a fairly short time and return the love of her fans. And the most "star" role of the last stage in her creative career was the transformation into the image of Galina Brezhneva in the biographical tape "Galina", for which she won the "Golden Eagle" and the title "Best Actress - 2009".
A native of the Vladimir region and a native of a family far from the world of culture and art, Lyudmila Valerievna Nilskaya is still a very popular and sought-after actress in our country. Her filmography is regularly updated with new films, in which she, as a rule, acts in age roles. So, her latest cinematic projects include the melodrama "Fate for Hire" (2016), "Season of Love" (2017) and "Householder" (2017).
Biography and career of Lyudmila Valerievna Nilskaya
On May 13, 1957, a future movie star was born in the small town of Strunino. From early childhood, the girl showed extraordinary artistic abilities. Therefore, after receiving a certificate of secondary education, she immediately went to conquer the capital of our Motherland. The Moscow Art Theater School in 1975 became an alma mater for her in just one course, because the subject "History of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union" turned into an insurmountable obstacle in the exam.
However, the transfer to the Shchukin School was very timely, since without wasting time it made it possible to fulfill the dream of her whole life - to become an artist. After graduating from a theatrical university, Lyudmila began her creative career as part of the Mayakovsky Theater in the capital, where she appeared on the stage until she moved to the United States. It is noteworthy that, despite the peak of her professional popularity, Nilskaya risked giving up everything and plunging into an unknown world, where no one guaranteed successful implementation.
Having sold her own real estate in Moscow, she, together with her husband, tried to found a family business in America, but, as often happened with our compatriots at that time, this initiative of hers went bust. There were hard times when you had to take on any unskilled and low-paid job, including the duties of a cleaning lady in a hotel.
And then there was a return home, and access to the theatrical stage of the Theater of the Moon. But since 2008, Lyudmila Nilskaya has become a member of the troupe of the State Theater of Film Actor, on the stage of which she still appears today. Here she was remembered by theater-goers in the productions of "The Madness of Love", "The Lady and the Admiral", "The Last Rate" and others.
Lyudmila Valerievna's cinematic debut took place in her student years, when she first appeared on the set in the psychological drama "Grasshopper" (1978). After a fairly successful start, numerous proposals followed from Soviet directors who wanted to see a talented actress in their projects. And Lyudmila became truly famous after the release of the sensational film "State Border" (1980), where she won the hearts of millions of domestic viewers in the image of Jadwiga Kovalskaya.
Personal life of the actress
The family life of the popular actress was associated with her only husband, Georgy Isaev, with whom she signed at the registry office in 1983. In this union, the son Dmitry was born. After an unsuccessful attempt to settle in the United States and the departure of her husband to another woman, Lyudmila Nilskaya left the foreign land and returned with her son to her homeland.
The famous actress decided not to get married for the second time, despite the fact that she was seen several times in short novels. Apparently, Lyudmila Valerievna today is not yet ready for strong heart experiences that can force her to re-create a marital union.
