Step 1
Be extremely polite. Muslims are a rather closed people, so you shouldn't deliberately violate their space. Impudence and rudeness towards them can cost you dearly, especially if you went on vacation to a Muslim country.
Step 2
Don't drink alcohol. In some countries, alcohol is prohibited on the streets of the city. Such an action is considered acceptable only in bars and hotel rooms. Islam presupposes the rejection of alcohol, so it is better to abstain from alcoholic beverages in the presence of a Muslim who respects the traditions of his people.
Step 3
Do not speak to a Muslim man first if you are a woman. According to custom, a woman does not have the right to be the first to start a conversation with a man. She can answer him only if he himself turned to her.
Step 4
Choose the right clothes when staying in a country where the main religion is Islam. Of course, it may seem that this does not matter much, but do not forget that you are a guest and should respectfully treat the people of the country around you. Avoid tight-fitting trousers, plunging necklines, and provocative outfits. Give preference to long skirts. Tie a scarf over your head.
Step 5
If you need to buy something from a Muslim, be sure to bargain. As a rule, bazaars initially set prices two or even three times higher than those at which the owner is ready to sell the goods. Muslims are real masters of arguing and bargaining, so be extremely creative. It will be better if you provide an opportunity to bargain with your man. The likelihood that you will purchase a product cheaper will increase significantly.
