William Sadler is an American film and theater actor, director, producer, and winner of the Saturn Award for his supporting role in The New Adventures of Bill and Tedd. He began his creative career on the theater stage in the 1980s of the last century.

William was born in the United States in the spring of 1950. His ancestors were immigrants from England and Scotland. Also in his pedigree there are representatives of Germany.
Even before school, the boy showed a genuine interest in music and by the age of 8 he had learned to play the ukulele. In his youth, he played in the teenage band Knight Ryders, but left it shortly before the musicians had a terrible car accident. None of the members of the group survived in it.
William received his primary education at Orchard Park High School in New York, then entered SUNY Geneseo College. Later he attended graduate school at Cornell University.
Theatrical career
Sadler began his acting career with performances in theaters in New York. He played on stage for 12 years and appeared in 75 performances. In 1985 he received the Clarence Derwent Award and the Drama-Logue Award for his role as Sergeant Toomey in N. Simon's Broadway production of Biloxi Blues.
