The list of revered gods of the ancient Romans can be continued indefinitely, because in addition to many famous deities for the Romans, there was also a patron god - a genius, individual for each person and for each family, as well as a wide variety of nature spirits and incredible creatures like mermaids, pegasus and fire-breathing snakes. However, one can single out the most famous and revered gods of the ancient Romans.

We must not forget that empires are not built peacefully, and therefore the army and professional wars made up a large society in the Roman Empire, mainly worshiping the formidable god of war - Mars, who helped valiant warriors on the battlefields.

The other side of life is a home ready to meet a brave hero returning. These are children, family. And it is the peaceful life that the goddess Vesta patronizes. It was believed that as long as the fire supported by the Vestals in the main temple burned, Rome would flourish.
