However, the head of the family was in no hurry with his blessing. He wanted Veronica to study to be a doctor. But when the question of choosing a profession arose seriously, the father did not object to the choice of his daughter.

After school, in order to get a specialized education, Dzhioeva entered the vocal department of the art school in Vladikavkaz. Experienced teachers worked at the school. At first, Veronica herself could not choose a specialization for herself. However, after a short period of time, it turned out that her vocal range meets the requirements for opera performers. And from that moment purposeful preparation began. In 2000, Dzhioeva completed her studies at the school. And she left to improve her performing skills in St. Petersburg. Here she was already expected at the conservatory.

On the professional stage

The St. Petersburg Conservatory is known all over the world for the high quality of its teaching. Talented performers, as students, are recruited to participate in local theater productions. Dzhioeva first appeared on the professional stage in 2004, performing Mimi's aria in the famous opera La Bohème. A year later, she received a diploma and, according to the current rules, the singer was invited to the troupe of the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theater. Veronica was genuinely surprised when she arrived at her new place of residence. The cultural life in the city was in full swing. The theater staged performances of both the classical repertoire and the works of contemporary authors.

After the official presentation, Dzhioeva was approved for the role of the Countess in the opera The Marriage of Figaro. Of course, Veronica was worried. But everything went smoothly, the audience greeted the "newcomer" very warmly. Then work began in repertoire productions. The singer splendidly played the role of Martha in The Tsar's Bride and Gorislava in Ruslan and Lyudmila. After a while, Dzhioeva began to be invited to certain roles in theaters in other cities. Today, while remaining the leading soloist of the Novosibirsk Theater, she is a guest performer at the Moscow Bolshoi and St. Petersburg Mariinsky Theaters.

Awards and achievements

Veronika Dzhioeva's work on the opera stage has received numerous awards and prizes. In 2008 she received a diploma from the Golden Mask Theater Festival. Two years later, the singer received the Czech National Prize "EURO Pragensis Ars" for her great contribution to the popularization of operatic art. In the spring of 2011, Dzhioeva was invited to perform in Munich, where she sang Tatyana's aria from the opera Eugene Onegin, accompanied by the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. The orchestra was conducted by Maris Jansons, with whom the collaboration continued for several years.

At home, they also carefully observe the work of their beloved singer. In 2014, Dzhioeva became the People's Artist of Ossetia. In 2017, a nominal festival of Veronica Dzhioeva was held at the Novosibirsk theater. Guests from Germany, Italy and Finland came to participate in this event. Much to the surprise of the audience, the husband and wife are raising and raising two children - a son, Roman and a daughter, Adriana.
