Alexander Antonovich Solodukha: facts from the biography
The future popular singer was born in the village of Kamenka, Moscow Region on January 18, 1959.
When Alexander was in high school, he once saw the performance of the Pesnyary ensemble on TV. From that moment, he understood what his calling was. At the same time, Solodukha was fond of football, rooting for Dynamo Minsk. Solodukh announced to his parents that he would either go to get a job at Pesnyary or try to get into Dynamo.
Soon Solodukha's father was hit by a car. He was in the hospital for a long time and needed care. Impressed by this tragic event, Alexander became a student at the medical institute in Karaganda.
In the first year of the university, Alexander gathered his own ensemble "Heirs". At the same time, he played for the institute's basketball team. However, from the first days of his studies, Solodukh realized that medicine was not at all his vocation. By this time, Alexander's family had moved to the capital of Belarus. In 1979 Solodukha transferred to the Medical Institute of Minsk and successfully graduated in 1982.
First steps to success
After graduating from high school, Solodukha mastered the profession of a doctor, at the same time participating in amateur performances. Subsequently, he became a soloist of the pop orchestra of the Belsovprof House of Culture.
The future singer also had a chance to work as a fishery inspector. Solodukha, in his uniform, went to the Bolotny brothers at the Blue Bird VIA and Bari Alibasov at the Integral to be pissed off. It was these professionals who convinced Alexander that he did not need to look for a place in musical groups. It was created for a solo career, the masters of the stage inspired him.
In 1985, Solodukha arrived in the capital of Russia to enter the Gnessin school. The audition went well. However, in the Soviet Union at that time it was not allowed to enter secondary educational institutions for persons who had previously received a higher education. Then Solodukha went to Leningrad to get a job in the orchestra conducted by Igor Petrenko. They agreed to take him. But the plans this time were prevented by the lack of registration. Solodukha returned to Minsk.
Career of Alexander Solodukha
Since 1987 Solodukha has been a soloist of the State Concert Orchestra of Belarus. Two years later, Alexander began to work in the song theater of Yadviga Poplavskaya and Alexander Tikhanovich "Happy Accident". With this team Solodukha traveled to many cities of the USSR.
Since 1991 Solodukha has been performing with the Karusel group, performing songs in Belarusian and Russian. At the same time, the singer takes part in television programs, speaks on the radio, and travels with concerts throughout the republics of the former Soviet Union.
Solodukha took part in the first festival "Slavianski Bazaar". In 1992 he took part in the Vitebsk-1992 contests for young pop singers. Subsequently, Alexander took part in festivals more than once. In 2005 he took part in the gala concert of the masters of arts of the Republic of Belarus.
In 1995 Solodukha came to Russia, where he released the album "Hello, foreign darling." A clip was released for a hit with this name, which quickly became popular. However, circumstances soon developed in such a way that Alexander had to return to Belarus again.
A few years later, the singer once again came to conquer Russia. He began to collaborate with Alexander Morozov. In the fall of 1999, a video for the song "Kalina" was released, which was actively shown on Russian television channels. In July 2000, the album "Kalina, Kalina" was released, which was a success. A few days later Solodukha left for Minsk again. Some of the artist's songs migrated to the repertoire of the Radchenko brothers.
In 2005, the presentation of Solodukha's album "Hundreds of kilometers to love" took place, where he included songs from previous years and new compositions. Some of the songs from the album were played for a long time on Russian radio.
In 2010, the singer released the album "You have come true for me." A year later, a film about Alexander was shot, called "Daughters of My Eye". In the frames of the film, you can see Stas Mikhailov, who at that time collaborated with Solodukha as an author.
In the same year, Alexander recorded another album in Russia, which was released in November. Critics noted that the disc did not contain strong hits, and the material was more similar to the compositions from the albums of previous years. The experts also criticized the lyrics. But the music accompaniment and arrangements were highly appreciated by the experts. The songs on the album had a lot of unpredictable transitions.
After that Solodukha started working on new albums. In February 2015, his collection "Shores" went on sale.
In 2018, President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko awarded Alexander the high title of Honored Artist of the Republic.
