An Orthodox person, first of all, will ask God for help before the upcoming deeds, and after their completion he will thank the Lord, because it is He who can help in any business, undertaking and show the true path to those who sincerely carry the faith in themselves.
Instructions
Step 1
"In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen." After asking the Lord for help, be sure to receive the Blessing with such words. Do not forget about such a short prayer as "Lord, bless!" It is this prayer that should be said before starting any business.
Step 2
"Lord have mercy!" says everyone who accidentally or intentionally committed any sin. You need to say such a prayer 3 times if you glorify the Lord, 12 times - if you ask for blessing, and 40 times - if you ask to consecrate your whole life.
Step 3
These short prayers should include praise prayers, in which there is not a single request, but only the ascension of praise to God. It sounds like this: "Glory to Thee, our God, glory to Thee!"
Step 4
A believing Christian should also know the appeal to Jesus Christ: “Lord, Jesus Christ! Son of God, prayers for the sake of Thy Most Pure Mother and all saints, have mercy on us. Amen . Saying the words of this prayer, a person asks for intercession for sinned people, before Jesus and Mother God. In other words, praying in this way, Christians seek the intercession and protection of the Mother of God before the Savior.
Step 5
Deeply religious people offer their prayers to the "life-giving cross", in which they pray for forgiveness and salvation of people on earth. It is also worth noting here the prayer "Symbol of Faith". This prayer says that faith in expectation of the Lord's appearance on our planet will never go out.
Step 6
In the Church's charter, morning and evening are separately pronounced, pronounced before communion and during fasting, which will certainly be observed by a deeply religious person. One of them is the prayer of Ephraim the Syrian: “Lord and Master of my life! Do not give me the spirit of idleness, despondency and lust. Grant the spirit of chastity, humility, patience and love to Thy servant. To her, Lord, King, grant me to see my sins and not to condemn my brother, as if blessed if forever and ever. Amen.
