Problems of ensuring state security at all times were considered a priority for the ruling class. In order to effectively eliminate constant and periodically emerging threats, the state has created appropriate structures. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation is one such unit. Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin has been appointed head of the committee since its inception.
Teaching work
In the daily activities of individuals and legal entities, conflict situations arise regularly. The current legislation allows you to eliminate and stop disagreements between the subjects. The system of law enforcement agencies, including the Investigative Committee, thanks to a balanced organization, operates without serious failures. In 2011, when the need arose, the Investigative Committee was separated from the Prosecutor's Office and given certain functions. Bastrykin was directly involved in this process.
The future "chief investigator of the country" was born on August 27, 1953. The Bastrykin family then lived in the city of Pskov. Father and mother, participants in the war, raised the child in the original Russian traditions. They instilled labor skills. Taught to respect the elders and not offend the weak. In 1980 he defended his Ph. D. thesis.
Service activities
In the biography of Alexander Bastrykin, all stages of a professional career are sparingly, but accurately recorded. In parallel with teaching, he occupies administrative positions in the structure of the Russian Legal Academy. In 2006, Alexander Ivanovich was transferred to Moscow to the post of Deputy Prosecutor General. The structure of law enforcement agencies was reformed. As a result of the transformations carried out, the Investigative Committee was allocated from the prosecutor's office, which became directly subordinate to the President of the country.
In 2011, Bastrykin was appointed head of the Investigative Committee. The situation in society at that time was tense. There have been several high-profile terrorist attacks. The infamous bombing of the Nevsky Express claimed the lives of nearly thirty people. While examining the scene of the crime, a camouflaged explosive device went off. As a result, the head of the Investigative Committee received a concussion and moderate wounds. Observers note that Bastrykin takes the most resonant cases under his personal control.
There is relative stability in Bastrykin's personal life. The first, still a student marriage, broke up without any consequences. Love was fleeting. The second and final attempt was successful. Husband and wife from the same background are lawyers. Raised and raised two sons.
