In parallel with teaching, he occupies administrative positions in the structure of the Russian Legal Academy. In 2006, Alexander Ivanovich was transferred to Moscow to the post of Deputy Prosecutor General. The structure of law enforcement agencies was reformed. As a result of the transformations carried out, the Investigative Committee was allocated from the prosecutor's office, which became directly subordinate to the President of the country.
