Nobody is insured against an accident. If a loved one or relative suddenly disappears, you should immediately start looking for him. It is possible that information about him is already available in the relevant databases.

Instructions

Step 1

Call the Accident Registration Office (ACB) in your city. The unified database of the BRNS contains all information about persons admitted to hospitals and morgues or detained by police officers. Tell the operator in detail about what happened and familiarize yourself with the information for the past day at the disposal of the BRNS.

Step 2

Contact the Ambulance Service, which may have more recent information on all those admitted to hospitals and taken to morgues. Please note that your loved one may not have any documents with them.

Step 3

If you have not received the information you need from the BRNS, or this institution has not yet opened in your city, contact the police department at the place of residence of the missing person. Do not wait until three days have passed as it is illegal (especially for children and disabled citizens). If your application is denied, contact the prosecutor's office.

Step 4

Make a statement addressed to the chief of ATC. Indicate in it the full name of the missing person, his age, approximate height and weight, special signs. Attach a photograph to your application, preferably one that was taken recently, wearing seasonal clothing. Check that the application is not only accepted but also registered. Only then will the police officers really start operational-search measures, the results of which will have to be immediately reported to you.

Step 5

If you are sure that your relative was the victim of a crime, not an accident, send a statement to the prosecutor's office to initiate a criminal case. However, you will need serious evidence to get the case going. Remember if there were any threats against your relative, whether everything was in order at his work, whether he has recently had large sums of money. It is possible that he often had to return home late from work or school. Tell the investigator about all this.

Step 6

If you have the funds, you can turn to private detectives. Provide them with all the information you have about this person and wait for the results of the investigation.
