Petar Zekavitsa is an actor of Russian theater and cinema of Serbian origin, who was born in Belgrade on October 8, 1979, studied in Hawaii and works in Russia. He is well known to viewers for his roles in television series.
Biography
Zekavitsa Petar was born in the capital of the former Yugoslavia in 1979. On duty, my father constantly moved from country to country and took his family with him. In 1991, Zekavitsa ended up in Russia, and although it was also restless here, they decided not to return to their homeland - a war broke out there, and my father did not want to go to war with people whom he respected - Croats and Bosnians. It was only much later that Petar's parents left for Belgrade, while he himself remained in Russia.
After graduating from high school, Petar was sent to study in Hawaii, at HPU, where he graduated and at the same time starred in the 1998 Honolulu film Clown. This period of his life became for him very instructive and inspiring for further creativity. After receiving his diploma, Zekavitsa moved to New York, where he staged the play "Richard III" based on Shakespeare, and it seemed that his career was assured. But later the actor returned to Russia, convinced that it was here that there was real theatrical art.
Career in Russia
Petar proposed the idea of an entertainment program "Sherche la Fan" for the REN TV channel, which had been produced for several years. In the same year, the film “Alain's Rule” was released, in which Petar declared himself as a director and received a medal for the development of culture and an international award for this work.
Zekavitsa made her debut as a Russian film actor in 2004. He appeared in the serial film "Dear Masha Berezina" and quickly became popular with the Russian audience. But he became famous after the TV series "Don't Be Born Beautiful", where Petar played the fashion expert Hans Kramer.
Since then, the actor has more than fifty works in films, in two projects he acted as a producer, and in 2019 a Russian fantasy film "Abigail" is being prepared for release, where Petar plays one of the central characters. In addition, Zekavitsa collaborates with the Taganka Theater, regularly appears on stage and takes part in many more promising cinema projects.
Personal life
The actor found family happiness in Russia. He and Catherine had two children who received Russian names: son Zakhar and daughter Sophia. Both children receive creative education from childhood. But the actor is very prone to romantic adventures, which he willingly talks about on his social media accounts. And one of them became fatal for the Zekavitsa family.
On the set of the TV series "Heirlooms" Petar accidentally met a Minsk artist in a cafe. His wife found out about a whirlwind romance, and instead of a romantic story for the entire period of filming, the actor provided himself with family scandals that ended in divorce. Children live alternately with their father and with their mother.
