To test this skill, you will be offered a reading passage, after reading which you will need to answer questions regarding its content. To successfully pass this part of the exam, try to read the text as carefully as possible, and when answering the questions, remember that it is better to answer at random than to skip the question. The test result will directly depend on the amount of correct answers given by you. The fourth part of the exam is considered the most difficult - the examinee will need to write a capacious and competent essay on a given topic. In order to achieve a good result and pass the TOEFL, you need to pay maximum attention to this task. The essay should be informative, provided with compelling reasons for each thought you have expressed. It is better to familiarize yourself in advance with the list of all the topics that may be offered to you on the exam. A well-passed exam is a prerequisite for admission to a higher education institution in the United States, obtaining a job in the United States, or applying for US citizenship. The TOEFL score is valid for two years.
