If there is a threat to human life and health during a force majeure situation, call the rescue service. It often happens that the cause of an emergency is the person himself.
Instructions
Step 1
Assess the current situation. If you are in a group or are a group leader, prevent panic attacks to avoid emergency situations with other people. If the injuries received are minor, find the possibility of self-delivery of the victim to a hospital, guided by the rules of transport immobilization.
Step 2
Provide first aid to the victim. Depending on the nature of the injury, stop potential bleeding by applying a tourniquet. Use any materials at hand as a splint to immobilize the injured limb (in the event of a fracture).
Step 3
Try to reassure the victim and others present. Arrange supervision for him.
Step 4
Call for help from your mobile phone at 112. Even if there is no SIM card or the phone is blocked, the rescue service operator will accept your call.
Step 5
Tell the rescue operator as accurately as possible the location of the victim, his condition, the time and place of the accident. If an accident occurs during outdoor activities, use information about significant natural objects nearby (cave, cliff, forest, body of water) as a guide. Indicate the number of people in the group.
Step 6
After the operator connects you with the head of the service department, proceed in accordance with the instructions received.
Step 7
All further actions should be coordinated only with the leader of the rescue group.
Step 8
If you do not have time or opportunity to stay with the victim personally, leave people from your group with him or at least one person with a mobile phone, whose number you tell the operator. Get the rest of the group away. Contact rescuers periodically.
Step 9
You can also call the rescue service by calling 101. The time frame through which help will come directly depends on how accurately you convey the information.
