This slender and short Kazakh girl showed miracles of courage in battles with the Nazis. Aliya Moldagulova herself volunteered to beat the enemy, although she could well have worked in the rear. Mastering the technique of sniper shooting, Aliya managed to destroy 78 enemy soldiers. However, the girl did not have a chance to live up to the Victory Day: in one of the fierce battles she died after being wounded.

The sniper girl who became famous during the years of confrontation with the Nazis was born into a Kazakh family on October 25, 1925. Her homeland is the aul Bulak, located in the Aktobe region (now Kazakhstan). As a child, the girl was left without a mother and father. It is known that her father was repressed: the reason was his noble origin.

Aliya studied at school for some time, after which her mother's grandmother took her to her. Her uncle also took part in the upbringing of the girl: from the age of 8 she lived in his friendly family in Alma-Ata.

From an early age, the girl was distinguished by a firm character and focus on the goals that Aliya set for herself.

In the mid-30s, the girl's uncle entered the military academy for training and moved to the capital of the Land of the Soviets. Alia went with him. Then the family settled in the city on the Neva, where the academy was transferred. In 1939, Aliya was assigned to a school that had a boarding school. She was then fourteen years old.

During the years of testing

With the outbreak of hostilities, the uncle's family was sent to evacuation. However, Aliya remained in the city on the Neva. After the start of the blockade of the city, Aliya with other pupils went to the Yaroslavl region, to the village. Vyatskoe. In the fall of 1942, she already began her studies at the Rybinsk Aviation Technical School. The girl dreamed of hitting the Nazis in the air, but she had to master the technology of working with metal. Not wanting to hide in the rear, the girl submitted an application to the military registration and enlistment office, in which she asked to give her the right to go to the front. In the winter of 1942, her request was granted.

Aliya ended up in one of the kits of the school of sniper instructors, which was located near Moscow. While undergoing training, Aliya learned to shoot without a miss, move on her bellies, and disguise herself on the ground. Among others, she was distinguished by perseverance, perseverance, striving for creativity in her field, ingenuity and rare endurance. Moldagulova's successes were marked with a valuable award: she was awarded a personalized rifle for accurate shooting.

In the summer of 1943, Aliya became a sniper in a rifle unit in the 22nd Army. By October, the fragile Kazakh woman numbered more than thirty killed Nazis. She had to not only do the work of a sniper, but also carry out wounded soldiers from the battlefield.

In January 1944, the unit, where Moldagulova served, fought near Pskov. In one of the battles, Aliya Nurmukhambetovna was wounded, but still participated in a fight with the enemy. The second wound was fatal. The girl's ashes rest in the same area, in the village. Monakovo. A. N. Moldagulova was awarded the posthumous title of Hero of the Soviet Union. On her combat account - more than seventy soldiers, as well as officers of the Wehrmacht.
