Any natural, man-made or man-made phenomenon can be a source of inspiration and cause for thought. In each season there is an allegory on the most important issues over which humanity is struggling. Including winter can become the theme of a poetic work of a philosophical, love or any other genre, depending on your intention.
Instructions
Step 1
Start your poem with a walk. The route does not matter: you can walk along the streets or in the park, among a large number of people, or in complete seclusion. The choice of the route, in general, depends only on the mood of the poem.
Step 2
Look around you carefully. Call your mind with words and phrases everything that surrounds you. Find unusual epithets for visible objects, people and phenomena. Remember everything: colors, smells, sounds, actions, motives. Collect information for a future poem.
Step 3
At the end of the walk, assume a position that is especially comfortable for you to compose. For some, this is a secluded personal office, for someone a family evening at tea, for someone something else. There is no universal recipe, you yourself must know your own character and inclinations.
Step 4
Write down all the impressions of the walk in a notebook. Write each thought on a separate line, it is advisable to leave a little more space between them. Later, you will fill in the blanks with additional thoughts.
It is best to write down thoughts on a spread: on the left page, just list what you saw and heard, and leave the right one free. Later on the right page, you will write down lines of poetry.
Step 5
Rate thoughts. Use concise phrases and sentences that fit a large amount of information into a small set of sounds and syllables. Cross out the lines that seem unsuccessful, write new, revised ones in their place.
Step 6
After twenty or forty work, write out the finished poem on a separate sheet or on a computer. Read it, preferably out loud. Make additional proofreading. The poem is ready.
