Children's dreams and aspirations are not always realized in later life. Such situations develop for various reasons. The famous actress of Soviet cinema Lyudmila Ivanovna Alfimova at an early age dreamed of becoming a pilot. In those years, a popular song was often heard on the radio with the words: "In the vast sky, in the immense sky, a girl is flying over her country." Lyudmila was not only eager to conquer the sky, but also took real action to make her dream come true. In high school, she began attending classes at the local flying club.
The flight instructor noted Alfimova's undoubted ability to fly aircraft. The girl successfully mastered the technique of flying on a sports plane and even on a fighter. But according to the current rules, she was not accepted into the flight school. This was a serious blow to life plans. The future actress was born on September 4, 1935 in an ordinary Soviet family. Parents lived in the city of Kharkov. My father worked at a tractor plant. Mother worked as a nurse in a polyclinic. The girl studied well at school. She was fond of sports.
Creative activity
Not getting into the flight school, after a short reflection, Alfimova decided to get a specialized education at the acting department of the local theater institute. In 1958, a graduated actress on assignment entered the service at the Kiev Theater of Young Spectators. She successfully adapted to the troupe. The ability to establish contacts with people around Lyudmila manifested itself in childhood. At the same time, she knew how to defend her point of view on issues of principle. Theatrical career was developing successfully. However, Alfimova wanted to act in films.
The debut of the film actress took place in 1959. Lyudmila played a supporting role in the film "The Young Years". After that, she starred in several more films. All-Union fame Alfimova brought the comedy film "Chasing Two Hares". The young actress was fortunate enough to act with the popular actor Oleg Borisov. This was followed by another famous film "Wedding in Malinovka". This time Alfimova played a woman older than her years. Critics and viewers praised the actress's performance.
Recognition and privacy
Alfimova's contribution to domestic cinema was appreciated. For many years of creativity in the development of art and culture in 2003, the actress was awarded the honorary title "Honored Artist of Ukraine".
Alfimova's personal life turned out well. She married Ivan Kalnitsky, chairman of an advanced collective farm and Hero of Socialist Labor. The husband and wife raised two daughters. The eldest daughter Elizabeth is an actress of the Kiev Drama Theater. The youngest, Alena, lives with her family in the United States and works as a nurse at the cardio center.
