Biography
Sergey was born in May 1984. His homeland is the Kazakh SSR, the city of Petropavlovsk.
Sergei has been playing football since childhood, even when he went to school. The graduation from this educational institution coincided with the player's debut, which took place in October 2001. Then Sergey Starykh was a substitute player in one match. But on the 70th minute he was released on the field.
And Sergei scored his first goal 3 days after that. Then his team "Esil-Bogatyr" played against "Kaisar". As a result, the native team won with a score of 2 - 0. At the Championship of Kazakhstan, the footballer and his associates took third place, the guys returned home with bronze medals.
Career
The next season became even more successful for the Ambulances, with the midfielder scoring 4 goals in 31 games.
Then the coach of these guys was Dmitry Ogay, but then he moved to the Irtysh club. A year later, Sergei went to his team. This step turned out to be very successful, since the new team together with him won the title of "Champions of Kazakhstan".
The crowned coach moved to another team a year later. It was "Tobol". And again Dmitry Ogay led the country to victory, but this time this club.
And next year, following the coach, Sergey comes to Tobol. Together with the club, he won third place, then became the champion.
But when in 2009 "Tobol" was left without prizes, took only the fourth position, the famous coach Dmitry Ogay left for Russia.
Then Skorikh moved to the Kazakh football club Shakhtar. Here he had 20 games in the National Championship, but only one goal was scored. In the same competition "Tobol" took the first prize.
Then there was a career in the team "Zhetysu", "Taraz", "Kaisar". "Miner".
In 2017, a curious incident occurred at the national championship in Kazakhstan. Starykh was the team captain at that time, but in three games he managed to score three own goals against his native Shakhtar.
Since 2018 Sergey Skorykh has been playing for the Kazakh club "Kyzyl-Zhar".

Representatives of the press often interview Sergei. When asked how Dmitry Ogay has changed recently, the footballer laughs. He says the coach has become softer and chases less players.
Starykh recalls that when he trained with Arno Pipers, he came up with various sports entertainment for them. So, the coach took the team out to play paintball. And in Holland there was such a case. The coach took the players to the naval base of the armed forces. There, on his orders, the players built rafts, then rafted them across the river. At the same time, some fell into the reservoir, and it was cold outside at that time.
When asked about his tattoo, Sergei replies that now he has the Versachi logo on his body, and earlier there was another tattoo. He made a new one to hide the old one, which he calls the mistake of youth.
Now Sergei already has a family, a wife, a successful personal life. Now he is a caring father and an exemplary husband. Starykh says that he wants to get a tattoo, knocking out the name of his daughter, but so far he cannot make up his mind.
