Hope is such a resilient loser. She is constantly being demoted and her social situation deteriorates. At the same time, she is positive in her own way and reminds the viewer of the life motivation, which is to meet love. She loves to look for people with beautiful souls and spend the last days of her life with them. And she spends the last thirteen days of her life with Marguerite Gaultier.
Renata Litvinova shot a film about love, because believes that this is what justifies the existence of people on Earth. And the theme of death is present, since it is a frequent companion of love, but which people are afraid of. Namely, it gives meaning to life in the director's opinion. Thus, the film with a mystical atmosphere tells about love, death and suffering.
Litvinova worked on the film for two years and tried to shoot it independently of the producers, at her own expense. Thus, the film is low-budget. The script was periodically rewritten during filming. She calls the film a fairy tale in a modern city. Singer Zemfira Ramazanova co-produced the film, and also recorded a soundtrack for it.
