A social role is a model of behavior set by the social position of an individual in the prism of social, social and personal relations. In other words, this is the behavior that is expected of you under certain conditions. Often in behavior, several models of social behavior collide, the requirements of which are in conflict and contradict each other. You can determine the social role after analyzing some of the details of the behavior.

Social roles are determined by several factors. The first one is social. Role types can be: passer-by, customer, customer. You can define this role by asking the question: "Who am I?" (or "Who is he / she?").

In other cases, the social role is determined by the profession or type of activity (teacher, cashier, student, miner). The same question can be asked to define this role.
Step 3
According to the socio-demographic principle, the following social roles can be distinguished: brother, sister, father, mother, man, woman. This social role can be defined in relation to the attitude of others (or one of the participants in communication) to the object of research.
Step 4
Age also influences the definition of a social role: a girl, an old man, a woman, etc. This social role is often in addition to the main one (student, pensioner).
