People with disabilities have the right to receive subsidized medicines in accordance with the list of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation. However, many of them refuse such a benefit for various reasons. How can this be done?
Instructions
Step 1
If for your disease you do not need drugs or you need a rare and expensive drug that is not on the list of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation, and has no cheap analogues, then you can refuse benefits for the free dispensing of drugs. Indeed, in the event that your drug is not on the list or it arrives at drugstore warehouses irregularly, you will still have to pay, since we are talking about life and death.
Step 2
You can opt out of benefits in whole or in part by applying to your local Pension Fund office. In accordance with the latest government decrees, this must be done before October 1 of this year, so that the benefits will be canceled starting from January 1 of next year. So, if you got a disability, for example, in November, then you will not be able to refuse to receive subsidized drugs next year. Although in some regions additional legislation has been adopted to support the rights of persons with disabilities in such situations.
Step 3
In the event that you subsequently change your mind about giving up benefits, you have the opportunity to submit another application by April 1 of the year in which you began to receive money instead of drugs.
Step 4
An application for the withdrawal of benefits must be submitted to the branch of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation annually, guided by the same deadlines. Therefore, if after a year you decide to return the benefits, they will be restored automatically if you do not apply to withdraw them.
Step 5
If you cannot get to the Pension Fund on your own, invite a notary to the house and either draw up a statement that he will certify, or write a power of attorney for a close relative. Persons with disabilities of the 3rd group can call at home to draw up an application and an employee of the Pension Fund.
