Biography
In October 1958, the future actor Timothy Francis Robbins was born on the 16th in the small American town of West Covina. The boy's family was creative: his mother was an actress, and his father performed in a musical group. From childhood, his parents instilled in Tim a sense of beauty, and after moving to the village of Greenwich Village, the boy began to attend a theater club. Tim also had two older sisters and a brother, but none of them achieved popularity. The Robbins family was very devout and the children were brought up under the strict supervision of their parents. After graduating from school, Tim, at the request of his father, went to New York to enter the university.
Robbins Jr. fulfilled his father's will and entered an educational institution, but thanks to the fact that his parents could no longer control him, Tim began to regularly throw parties and skip classes, and this ultimately led to expulsion. After this event, the future actor returned to California and entered film school. This choice was strongly disapproved of by his father, but ultimately backed down in the hope that his son would receive at least some kind of education.
Career
During training, a textured young man is noticed by directors and producers of various low-budget projects. In 1983, the medical series "St. Elsver" began, which lasted for six seasons. Tim Robbins made his acting debut in this television series, the actor played a cameo in three episodes. In the same year, the actor was offered one of the roles in the feature film "Princess Quarterback". This was followed by a series of small roles in television series and inexpensive films, including even a role in the super-popular television series "Santa Barbara" in Russia in the 90s.
But the real success came to the actor only in the mid-90s. In 1994 he starred in The Shawshank Redemption. The film was so successful that after this work, a huge number of proposals fell on Robbins. Interesting fact: for his role in the cult film "The Shawshank Redemption" the actor was not even nominated for an Oscar.
The talented artist also has several directing works, including the 1995 film "Dead Man Walking" for which the actor (and part-time director) received several awards at once.
Personal life

The reason for the collapse of such a strong union is called the shocking behavior of the spouse.
