Pierce Brosnan is a popular Irish actor and film producer who has successfully built his film career in Hollywood. He is one of the performers of the role of Agent 007 in four feature films.
Biography
Pierce Brendan Brosnan was born in 1953 in Drogheda, a small port town in Ireland. The father left the family when the boy was not even a year old. The mother also did not want to be engaged in raising her son alone, so she gave the child to her parents, and she herself moved to London. When the boy was in elementary school, his grandparents died and he was taken care of by his uncle and aunt.
When he was 10 years old, his mother remarried and decided to take her son back. Pierce Brosnan moved to his mother in London, but relations with her forever became rather cold. The father who abandoned the baby showed up when Brosnan became a very popular actor.
In his teenage years, Brosnan watched a movie about Agent 007 starring Sean Connery. The picture impressed the young man so much that he decided to choose a career as a film actor, not even realizing that he would one day be honored to play a cult character.

In 1995, he made his dream come true with his first role as Agent 007 in GoldenEye. Many considered his incarnation of James Bond to be one of the most successful since Sean Connery. Later, 3 more parts of the story about a secret agent with Pierce Brosnan in the title role were released.

Personal life
The actor's first marriage ended sadly. His wife, actress Cassandra Harris, died of ovarian cancer. The marriage lasted 11 years. Pierce Brosnan adopted two children from his wife's first marriage, and she gave birth to his third child. Unfortunately, the eldest of the adopted children, Charlotte, passed away in 2013 from the same illness as her mother.
Ten years after the death of his wife, the actor entered into a second marriage. Keely Shaye Smith, a TV presenter and actress, became his new chosen one. In this marriage, the actor had two more sons. The actors live together and raise children to this day.
In addition to acting, Pierce Brosnan loves painting and drawing. He often sells his paintings at auctions, and one of them even hangs in a gallery in New York.
