Chopin, in the last years of his life in London, left a will in which he asked that his heart be transported to Poland after his death.
Much to the regret of music lovers, Chopin died very early - at the age of 39, leaving behind a huge culture of piano music, a mark in art and in the hearts of listeners all over the world.
