The future glorified hockey player was born in the capital of the USSR on June 1, 1960. Volodya came out of the most ordinary working-class family. His father worked as a milling machine operator at the plant. Mom worked as a cook in a kindergarten.

Volodya and his brother Sasha often spent the summer months at a dacha near Moscow, where the boys' mother went with the kindergarten. The guys grew up in open spaces and at the same time received a working hardening: both brothers mastered work at a local sawmill.

Volodya was eight years old when the family changed their apartment, moving to housing near Kutuzovsky Prospekt. At this time, the boy was seriously interested in hockey, and there was a stadium next to the house. On skates, he confidently stood from the age of four: Sasha brought his younger brother to the site, there they drove the puck together. Volodya quickly grasped the essence of the game. This is how the formation of the famous hockey player took place.

Sports career

Playing in the youth team with his brother, the younger Krutov was in no way inferior to his partners in skill. Soon Vladimir was officially invited to train in the army team. There were many doubts. But Volodya was convinced by a conversation with the famous CSKA coach V. Stelmakhov.

Training for CSKA began for Krutov in 1971. The career of a young hockey player developed rapidly: at first he played for a young man, then for a youth team. I had to work hard: sometimes Vladimir conducted three trainings per day.

In 1977, Krutov, a 10th grade student, played for the first time for the main army team at a tournament in Luzhniki. The game was shown on television. Vladimir played very well. At school the next day, the young man became the hero of the day.

The further career of a hockey player is an endless series of tournaments of various levels. Over time, Krutov became the best forward for CSKA and the national team of the Country of Soviets.

Vladimir played for his team for about 12 years. Then he worked in Switzerland, in Sweden. In 1996 he returned to his homeland, where he started coaching.

It is very difficult to count the titles of the eminent hockey player. Krutov is considered the top scorer of the 80s of the past century.

Hockey player's personal life

Vladimir's future wife, Nina, worked with his mother. She was 5 years older than Krutov. Volodya's mother did not welcome such a marriage - especially since the chosen one Krutov was already married, raising a son. But Krutov turned out to be adamant and went against the will of his parents. Subsequently, the relationship between his wife Nina and his mother improved.

Soon, a son, Alexei, was born, who later became a hockey player. The Krutovs have lived together for more than thirty very happy years.

But Vladimir was let down by his health. Over the years of his career, the hockey player was repeatedly injured. Once he developed a hematoma, which required surgical intervention and long-term treatment.

At the age of 53, Vladimir Evgenievich suddenly developed bleeding in his stomach. It also led to the sudden death of Krutov. The doctors were unable to do anything. The heart of the famous hockey player stopped beating on June 6, 2012.
