Biography
Russian gymnast Denis Ablyazin hails from the city of Penza, where he was born in 1992 on August 3rd. From an early age, Denis was fond of various sports, as he was very energetic and well-built. His first hobby was ice hockey. He chose between cycling and gymnastics until he enrolled in the Lavrova children's sports school. The first training began when the boy was six and a half years old. At first, classes were given with difficulty, as he lacked flexibility. He did a lot of work to meet the requirements for artistic gymnastics, which are very strict. Three evening workouts a week for an hour and a half gave excellent results. The boy became dexterous and easily fulfilled the required standards. Two years after the start of classes, Denis switched to a more complex training schedule. A year later, he was subjected to a difficult regulatory standard to receive the first adult category in artistic gymnastics.
The coaches saw how Denis's skill grows. His first mentor, Pavel Alenin, managed to convince the twelve-year-old athlete of the need to continue training in order to start a career as a sports gymnast. The whole day of Denis was scheduled by the minute, and when he had to go to the sports base "Lake Krugloye" near Moscow, the boy devoted all his time to sports activities. He devoted the evening hours to the study of school subjects so that education did not suffer from intensive gymnastic training. Denis Ablyazin had reliable support in the person of famous coaches - Sergei Starkin and Dmitry Derzhavin.
Career and contribution to the national team
The first competitions in which Denis took part were school sports days. The athlete won his first medal (silver) at a tournament in Chelyabinsk. This was followed by gold at the Russian junior championship for floor exercise. From championship to championship, Dmitry Ablyazin's sportsmanship grew. He received well-deserved awards at all events that took place in Russian cities. The gymnast showed excellent physical fitness in 2010, when he took silver at the World Cup, held in Croatia.
This was followed by the European Championships in Berlin and the World Championships in Tokyo, Japan. Denis competed in the 2012 European championship and received a silver medal in the team championship and bronze medals for jumping and exercises on the rings. He became a real athlete who succumbed to the most difficult standards of international competitions.
The peak of Denis Ablyazin's sports career came in 2012, when he received a silver and bronze medal as part of the Russian national team at the Summer Olympics. 2013 brought the athlete gold in Kazan, where the Summer Universiade was held. The 2016 Olympics were rich in medals. In Rio de Janeiro, the athlete won a bronze medal for exercises on the rings and two silver medals in the team event.

Personal life
Gymnast Ksenia Semenova became the wife of the famous athlete. The guys live in a happy marriage and raise little Yaroslav. The athlete received higher education and has the specialty of a coach-teacher. Denis's favorite activities in his free time are computer games, cycling and watching movies.
