Tretyakov Yuri Fedorovich is an undeservedly forgotten children's writer. Contemporaries put his name on a par with such outstanding names of writers as Nikolai Nosov, Victor Dragunsky, Eduard Uspensky.

Yuri Fedorovich was born in Borisoglebsk in March 1931. This city now has a population of over 61,000. And during the childhood of the future writer, it was a provincial settlement with forests, a river, with one-story houses, in the courtyards of which there were front gardens. But nature, the people who lived there, Yuri's peers - all this did not escape the observant gaze of the future writer.

The young man studied well. He graduated from high school with a gold medal. Since the boy was often ill in childhood, he wanted to learn how to cope with these ailments, so he entered the medical institute in Moscow. Then there was a very big competition for this educational institution. But the young man's excellent successes helped him to enter without problems. It would seem that life has already settled down. A useful, prestigious specialty loomed ahead. But Tretyakov obeyed the call of his heart all his life.

When he realized that literature attracted him more, he left the institute without hesitation, although he had already completed the first year.

By this time, the creatively gifted young man wrote stories, which he brought to magazines and newspapers, where his creations began to be printed.

Then the gifted young man decided to enter a literary institute, and he passed the exams perfectly. After graduating from the university, the young writer received a higher education.

Yuri Tretyakov was still a student when he wrote and published his first book. It was a collection of short stories called The Beetle and Geometry. It tells about schoolchildren, as in the second book. It's called "Starting a Fishing Patrol."

The work turned out to be so successful and fascinating that the metropolitan Children's Literature undertook to publish it. An interesting book by a children's writer was published in large circulation. The illustrations for this story were drawn by Evgeny Tikhonovich Migunov. He was a famous illustrator not only for books, but also for cartoons. Evgeny Tikhonovich also drew cartoons.

Perhaps this famous children's writer asked himself such a question when he decided to leave the large city of Voronezh again to his remote place - to Borisoglebsk. Here he had an elderly mother and almost no job prospects.

Once in Borisoglebsk, representatives of the film studio came to the writer. They brought Yuri Tretyakov a script for his book The Beginning of a Fishing Patrol. But the author did not agree to the adaptation of the story. He said that the script was written in the wrong language, in the wrong way.

If only the writer agreed to this proposal, then modern viewers would have the opportunity to learn about his works, to see them on the screen. Then Yuri Fedorovich Tretyakov would be paid copyright. And so, he was interrupted by odd jobs, then depression rolled over.

During his short creative life, Tretyakov managed to create several interesting books. They can be safely recommended for reading by boys, girls, and their parents.

When Yuri Tretyakov lived in Voronezh, he was given an apartment in the center of this city, he started a family, became a husband by getting married. But again, at the call of his heart, he abruptly changed his life, leaving for the hinterland to his mother. He also wrote several fascinating books, but they were published only by local editions, and widespread fame for the writer never came.
