Biography
Yuri Fedorovich Tretyakov was born in the Voronezh region in a small, but very beautiful and cozy provincial town of Borisoglebsk in May 1931. Yura grew up as a weak and sickly child. I attended a regular school. He studied very well and was always an excellent student. After leaving school, he enters the medical institute in Moscow. For himself, he long ago decided that he would heal people. But the craving for writing turned out to be higher than the desire to become a doctor. Soon he leaves the university to seriously study literature.
Creative career
He enters the institute again, but now it is the institute of literature. She is a wonderful student, writes a lot. While studying at the institute, he publishes his first book entitled "The Beetle and Geometry". Several more books follow, which are published in Voronezh. His works were a great success. Many serious metropolitan publishing houses, including such well-known ones as "Children's Literature", "Soviet Russia", have become interested in the talented author.
At that time, children's magazines were very popular (Pioneer, Koster, Rise). They also eagerly printed the works of the author. The talent of the young writer was noticed and appreciated. The Union of Writers of the country accepts him into its ranks.

Yuri Tretyakov was a children's writer of socialist realism. He wrote stories and stories about simple, ordinary children. He described them as they really were in everyday life. In his works, there are no children who would commit heroic deeds, catch and hunt down criminals or spies. He tells about boys and girls who live their usual childhood life: they fight, receive belts from their fathers, cheat and deceive, cry and laugh merrily. Yuri Fedorovich Tretyakov passed away in February 1985.
