It is necessary

  • - A4 sheet of paper;
  • - a pen;
  • - warranty card for the product;
  • - sales receipt;
  • - an envelope for sending a claim.

Instructions

Step 1

Take a sheet of A4 paper and write in the upper right corner (the so-called "header") the name of the organization and the full name of its director. If you do not know the name of the manager, write “store director” and indicate the name of the trade facility.

Step 2

In the same place, after the name of the store, put your last name, first name, patronymic and contact information (address and phone number).

Step 3

After stepping back a couple of lines from the header of the appeal, write “Claim” or “Application” with a capital letter in the center of the sheet. After that, state the essence of the matter in the text.

Step 4

Write sequentially how you bought a product in the store that does not meet your requirements. Indicate the date of purchase, as well as identified defects and deficiencies in the product.

Step 5

Next, refer to Art. 29 of the Law "On Protection of Consumer Rights". According to this article, you have the right to terminate the purchase and sale agreement, as significant deficiencies were found in the purchased product. Linking to laws will add weight to your claim and make the case for your claims. Moreover, the administration and shop assistants are afraid of highly competent buyers and try to satisfy their requests without bringing the case to court.

Step 6

After describing the nature of the problem, be clear about your requirements. For example, "I ask you to terminate the contract and return to me the amount of money paid for the goods." Do not forget to write also your further intentions in case of dissatisfaction of your requirements on a voluntary basis. For example, "in case of refusal to return money or exchange goods, I will have to go to court, where, in addition to the amount itself, I will ask for compensation for moral damage and payment of a penalty."

Step 7

At the end of the text, on the left side, put the date, on the right - your signature. Attach to the letter of claim a copy of the warranty card, a copy of the sales receipt and a copy of the certificate from the warranty workshop (if any).
