The Czech Republic is a rather attractive option for emigration to Europe. Unlike other countries, it is not difficult to become a permanent resident of the Czech Republic: it is enough to live in it for five years, having a residence permit, and during this time to learn the Czech language.
Instructions
Step 1
The Czech Republic is sometimes perceived by Russians as a kind of barrier between Russia and Europe. In the Czech Republic, things are not quite the same as here, but not quite there, as "in the West." Emigration to the Czech Republic is a change in life without the stress associated with the need to perceive a completely foreign culture. The ease of emigration to the Czech Republic also speaks in favor of this country: to obtain a permanent residence in the Czech Republic, it is enough to live in it for five years, having a residence permit.
Step 2
The easiest way to obtain a residence permit in the Czech Republic is to be a director of a company registered in the Czech Republic, i.e. just have a business. Then you and your minor children, and your spouse can move to the Czech Republic. To obtain a residence permit, you will need to collect the following documents:
1.a document confirming that you have a place of residence in the Czech Republic - for example, a house lease agreement, etc.
2. medical insurance (preferably Czech).
3. certificate of no criminal record.
4. bank statement.
5. Three photographs of 3.5 cm by 4.5 cm.
6. Filled out application form (you can download it here
7. documents of your Czech company - to confirm its existence.
8. passport.
9. copy of a bank card.
With the above package of documents, you must come for an interview at the embassy or consulate of the Czech Republic at your place of residence. Within 2-3 months, a decision is made to issue a residence permit.
Step 3
The residence permit is initially issued only for 6 months. Therefore, it must be extended, which is done only on the territory of the Czech Republic. It is necessary to submit documents for the extension of the residence permit no later than 14 days before the expiry date of the residence permit. The first and all subsequent extensions of the residence permit are made for a period of two years. Renewal of a residence permit usually takes 1-2 months.
Step 4
After five years of residence in the Czech Republic, you must apply for a permanent residence. It is worth remembering that in order to obtain a permanent residence, one cannot be absent from the Czech Republic for more than 10 months in five years or more than six months continuously. Also, to obtain a permanent residence, you will need to pass an exam in the Czech language. Permanent residence in the Czech Republic can be obtained for a ten-year period.
