Café de Flore (2011) - the film develops two stories in parallel: the story of a single mother raising in the late sixties of the last century in Paris, in the love and patience of her son with Down syndrome, and a successful sexual musician from the modern Montreal. Both stories are bright and reverent - about love and self-denial. But in the finale, it turns out that they are connected not only by this, but much, much more - a time loop: none of them would have lived without each other. The film has won five Canadian National Film Awards, including Vanessa Paradis winning Best Actress at the 2012 Genie Awards and the 2012 Jutra Awards.
