Starting conditions
When a new person is born, no one knows what fate he will have. Of course, you can tell fortunes on the coffee grounds or contact a certified astrologer, but predictions of this quality are not accurate. Alexey Albertovich Garnizov was born on February 25, 1963 in an ordinary Soviet family. Parents at that time lived in the city of Melitopol. When the child was eleven years old, he became an orphan. Relatives, as best they could, supported the young man. Alexei, who matured early, understood that he would have to pave the further life path himself.
The future composer set a goal for himself and outlined a vector of movement towards it. Alexey studied at three schools at the same time - general education, music and sports. The fact that physical fitness is very important for people engaged in creative work was clearly explained to him in music lessons. At the age of fourteen, Garnizov moved to Moscow to carefully prepare for his upcoming career. As a schoolboy, Alexey was actively involved in the theater studio. After the tenth grade, he decided to get a specialized education at the famous GITIS.
Professional activity
Already in his student years, Garnizov was attracted to participate in serious projects. In 1985, Alexey received a diploma in the specialty "director of musical theater, variety art and mass performances." By this time, he had already staged opera performances on the stage of the capital's theaters. The young director came to work at the State Central Concert Hall "Russia". For almost twenty years Garnizov served as a leading director here. Thanks to his talent and hard work, Alexey organized performances by Raymond Pauls, Ilya Reznik, Oleg Gazmanov, Valery Leontiev within the walls of the concert hall.
Garnizov's creative career has developed well. He wrote songs for many Russian performers. He also acted as a producer at the same time. Irina Allegrova performed songs about love and separation. The cult composition "Casanova" is sang today by Valery Leontiev. For several years Garnizov has been organizing the Zerkalo film festival. The festival is held in the homeland of the Russian film director Andrei Tarkovsky in the town of Yuryevets. Versatile hobbies allow Alexey to create unique works in different genres of art.

For conscientious work and success in the development of culture, Garnizov was awarded the honorary title of Honored Artist of Russia. He was awarded the main music award "Ovation" many times.
The personal life of the performer and composer has developed steadily. For many years he has been living in a legal marriage. The husband and wife raised three children - two sons and a daughter. Alexey's grandchildren are already growing up.
