Alexey Poluyan was born in the Leningrad Region, and spent his entire short life in the city on the Neva. He was not going to become an actor: this was his fate. A noticeable young man was called to the shooting by the filmmakers. And they were not mistaken - the guy turned out to be an excellent actor. True, mostly Alexei got only minor roles. Who knows, perhaps Poluyan could have reached a different creative level. But illness prevented.

The future actor A. Poluyan was born in Leningrad on April 4, 1965. In this city he lived. The life path of Alexei cannot be called unusual: he graduated from school, moved to a vocational school. There he mastered the specialty of a cook. The guy did not have much choice: he grew up in a not very prosperous family, his parents often kissed a glass. He failed to get a prestigious education. But already in his youth, Lesha was engaged in creativity and showed his talent: he mastered playing the guitar, wrote poetry, tried to draw. And he was great at telling entertaining stories.

Poluyan got into the cinema by accident. It was at the very beginning of the 80s: once the director's assistant D. Asanova saw him on the street. She invited the colorful and lop-eared Alexei to try himself in the cinema. The first film, where the novice actor was involved, was the film "Boys".

Poluyan had a chance to play only episodic and secondary roles. Among his works are the films "Peculiarities of the National Hunt" and the comedy film "Operation Happy New Year!" Real popularity came to Poluyan with the release of the film "Cargo 200", where he got the role of policeman Zhurov. In total, Poluyan played in more than 20 films. Many directors, after the first successes of the talented, versatile and bright actor, invited him to their promising projects.

Alexey Poluyan also worked at the Theater of the Absurd and the Theater of Real Art.

Alexey was married twice. He left two daughters. The second wife of the actor was the daughter of actor A. Petrenko.

Actor's illness and death

In 2007, journalists learned about Poluyan's illness: he admitted that he had pancreatitis. Alexei went through three operations and was in the clinic for a long time. The actor in this difficult situation was supported by the entire large team of Lenfilm, including A. Krasko, M. Porechenkov. It happened that his friends-bodybuilders even carried him in their arms to the smoking room or toilet.

In the film "Cargo 200" A. Poluyan was filmed, being in a serious physical condition. He even had to wear a bandage.

Talking about his health to reporters, Poluyan recalled that, in general, failures literally pursued him. Once he fell into the subway on the rails and miraculously saved his legs. In his youth, Alexey did an internship on a small ship, where he was entrusted with the helm, and managed to crash into the Aurora. On this occasion, the young loser was even summoned to the KGB.

Alexey Vladimirovich passed away on January 8, 2010, right after Christmas. His ashes were buried in the village. Yarovshchina, in the Lodeynopolsky district of the Leningrad region, Poluyan spent his childhood here.
