Step 1
Motivate and organize yourself. There are many people around you who will say, "I would like to write a book about something." But only a few of those who did it. If you managed to organize yourself and work hard on your ideas, putting your heart and soul, then the book will be written. To really finish a short story or novel on time - force yourself to write yourself every day, be disciplined.
Step 2
Find an interesting and relevant topic for your book. It is desirable to have a topic that has not been covered in other books before. The topic should contain the idea that you want to convey to your future readers. These can be ideas from your life, from the world around you, from travels - yours or your friends, other works, finally, from just a dream. The idea is around you. Personal experience in the topic found is also required, huge and versatile.
Step 3
Gather the information you need. To find material for a book, you need not only to know and imagine what you would like to tell readers, but also to deeply immerse yourself in the life of the society in which you live, in its aspirations, which should be clear and understandable for you. The book always expresses the personal "I" of the writer, the way he sees and relates to what is happening around him. Get yourself a notebook or notebook where you can briefly write down the interesting things that you heard, read, saw. Remember that it will be very difficult to write a book without a huge amount of information.
Step 4
Create the heroes of your book. The reader will remember the characters in the book long after he has read the last page. You need to know exactly everything that concerns your heroes, all the smallest details of their existence. Heroes should be authentic, and the situations that happen to them should be real and convincing, despite the unusualness of what is happening. The author should always know a little more about the character than the reader. You could say that he should be a bit of a psychologist when he relates his life to the life of his character.
