Elena, despite her age, gives birth easily, and an absolutely healthy child is born. Eduarda's childbirth, on the other hand, is very difficult. The newborn baby dies, and Eduarda will never be able to have children.
The fragile family happiness of her daughter is under threat, and Elena decides to secretly change children. She gives her son to her daughter and decides to keep this secret until the end of her days.
Sooner or later, but everything secret becomes clear, and Elena's deception is no exception. Her life is crumbling before our eyes, many friends turn away and condemn her. However, the series ends well. All the masks were torn off, all the secrets were revealed, and pure love, as always, won.
Regina Duarte and Gabriela Duarte, who played Helena and Edurada, are actually mother and daughter. Maybe that's why they look very organic in the series.
In the final scene of the series, Elena and Eduard walk in the park with their husbands and the child, who became the son of both of them.
