The series "Daddies" is a Russian-Ukrainian project. It was established in 2011. The idea for the series belongs to Vladimir Zelensky. He is known for a number of other paintings: "Matchmakers", "Mitya's Tales".

The comedy series touches upon the theme of fathers and children, or rather, fathers and daughters. The plot unfolds over 16 episodes, each lasting 50 minutes. The residents of Ukraine were the first to see the adventurous comedy. The series began airing on February 13, 2012. The Russian viewer saw the picture a little later - on February 23, 2012 on Channel One.
Leonid Mazor - the director of the film, is known for other works: "Lyuba, Children and the Factory", "All So Sudden", "Doctor Tyrsa". Most of the picture was filmed in the village of Bakovka. For a very long time and carefully, the cast was selected, especially the performers of the main roles.
It was necessary to embody a number of conflicting characters on the screen, so the director had to select actors for a long time.
Content of the picture
Innokenty Bochkin is the main character of the series. He was played by Sergei Gazarov. The actor is known to the viewer for the following works: "Turkish Gambit", "Doctor Zhivago". Innokenty Bochkin was engaged in forgery of paintings by famous artists, for which he was imprisoned. He spent 20 years in prison. Moreover, the court passed him an unjust verdict. Over the years, his daughter grew up, who followed in her father's footsteps, inherited from him a love of painting and art. She became a specialist in Flemish craftsmen. All these years the girl was brought up by her stepfather - police lieutenant colonel Vasily Tuchkov. His role was played by Roman Madyanov. The actor previously played in films: "Poor Sasha", "Nastya", "Wild Field".
According to the plot of the picture, it was Tuchkov who once sent Bochkin to prison for fraud. After his release, the father wanted to get closer to his daughter Nastya, so he decided on an adventure. He pretended to be an art critic who had come from Siberia to collect information for writing a dissertation. And under this pretext he got into the confidence of Nastya. Bochkin even faked an accident so that the girl would shelter him at home out of guilt and compassion.
Natalia Nozdrina played the role of that same Nastya. She managed to reveal the lyrical image of the heroine. During the filming, the actress became very attached to her stage fathers, was able to experience real daughter feelings.
On the set, the main characters called each other dad and daughter.
How many outstanding actors played in secondary roles: Tatiana Dogileva, Irina Byakova, Valery Afanasyev, Dmitry Mukhamedov. Such a story about two fathers and a daughter became interesting not only to middle-aged people, but also to the younger generation.
