Anna Vladimirovna Shurochkina was born in Moscow on August 15, 1990 in a family of pop musicians. Her father, Vladimir Vyacheslavovich Shurochkin, is a well-known singer and composer in pop circles, a former member of the Hour Rush and Tender May collectives. Mother, Irina Vladimirovna Shurochkina, is also a singer, formerly a soloist of a rock group.
When the daughter was two years old, the marriage of her parents broke up - she could not stand the frequent tours of the spouses. My father had a new family, but Vladimir and his second wife Oksana devoted a lot of their time and attention to Anya. Subsequently, Vladimir Shurochkin acted as the producer of the singer Nyusha, and under the guidance of her stepmother Oksana Shurochkina, master of sports in artistic gymnastics, Anna was engaged in stage skills and dancing. Shurochkina's father, mother and stepmother are friendly to this day.
Anya Shurochkina inherited from her parents a fine ear for music and a love of musical creativity. From the age of three, she began to study vocals and solfeggio with Viktor Anatolyevich Pozdnyakov, a famous teacher, composer, poet, arranger and producer. In addition to vocals, Anna also studied piano, but, according to her, she did not reach special heights in performance. But at the age of eight, she composed her first song, and in English. Anna did not receive any special musical education - she had enough natural talent and skills acquired in childhood to make a dizzying career in show business.
In 2001, the girl became a member of the Grizzly group, as part of which she performed at various concerts, and also went on tour in the cities of Russia and Germany. And in 1994, at the age of 14, Anna decided to try her hand at the "Star Factory", but at the casting it turned out that she did not pass in age. Anna Shurochkina received her secondary education in the experimental secondary school No. 1133, her studies were difficult for her because of the constant traveling and performances. Nevertheless, she graduated from school as an external student, so that nothing would distract her from musical creativity anymore. During her school years, Anya also worked in the Thai boxing section.
In 2007, Anna Shurochkina, at the insistence and support of her father, went to the casting of the musical show "STS lights a superstar", participation in which brought the singer victory and popularity of the audience. And the next year Anya sang at the "New Wave" competition in Jurmala, where she got very excited and therefore took only 7th place. The singer's father constantly accompanied Anna on trips to competitions and tours, was engaged in her production. In 2007, Anna Vladimirovna Shurochkina became known as Nyusha Vladimirovna Shurochkina. By this time, she was already very popular. The singer decided that for greater fame and personality she needed a sonorous name, and her own seemed too simple and ordinary. Anna went through different options - for example, she thought to call herself Aisha. But then she chose an affectionate version of her name - Nyusha, especially since she was called that way in childhood. In addition, in those years, the animated series "Smeshariki" appeared and became incredibly popular, one of the main characters of which was named Nyusha. Since then, Shurochkina was given toy pigs-Nyush everywhere and everywhere. The singer decided to officially legitimize her creative pseudonym in order to become akin to him herself.
