Henrikh Mkhitaryan is one of the best football players in the world of our time, the idol of all Armenian boys, the national treasure of his small country and an enviable groom. Childhood
Heinrich was the second child in the family. He was born three years later than his older sister Monica, in 1989, on January 21 in the capital of Armenia. But soon the parents were forced to leave Yerevan due to the difficult political situation in the country.
After moving to Paris, Henry's parents continued to work in their favorite field - football. Father, Hamlet Mkhitaryan was an eminent striker of "Ararat", one of the best footballers in the USSR, and then, after moving, played in the French club "Valence". And the faithful wife and loving mother Marina worked in the administrative sports sphere.
Hamlet began to take his son to training at the age of three. According to Heinrich himself, he just wanted to be with his dad, and the passion for football came later. When the boy was 7 years old, his father died of a brain tumor. It happened in 1996, and the family left for Armenia. And a year after that, the son began to stubbornly play football - for the sake of his father, who all his life was the only idol for his son.
In Yerevan, his mother sent Henry to the "Pyunik" sports school for children, where he was found by the scouts of Donetsk "Metallurgist", where Henry spent only a year, having won the title of "The best footballer of Armenia" and the prize of the "Sympathy FAF" fan organization. Then he played 5 years at Shakhtar, becoming its best player, and at the same time the best footballer of the CIS, setting a record for goals scored in the Ukrainian league in the 2012/13 season.
Henry's career in top clubs
Heinrich believed in himself and decided to play at a higher level. By that time, such giants as Chelsea, Manchester City, PSG, and Juventus were interested in a talented young athlete. But he gave preference to Borussia Dortmund, having signed a contract for 4 years. During this time, a modest Armenian guy managed to become more than once the best player in various matches and the 2015/16 season, and then, in July 2016, he moved to the legendary English club "Manchester United"
Henry gave another four-year contract to Manchester United, in which, unfortunately, he could not seriously distinguish himself. The footballer graduated from the Institute of Physical Culture in Yerevan, as well as the Faculty of Economics at the Yerevan branch of the St. Petersburg University. Heinrich wants to get another higher education in the field of law, but so far he does not have time for this. Mkhitaryan is a real intellectual. One of his favorite hobbies is chess. In addition, he speaks seven languages.
