Varun Dhavan is an Indian actor, a favorite of all fans of Bollywood cinema, one of the highest paid workers in show business in India.
Childhood and youth
Varun was born in April 1987 to married couple David and Karuna Dhavan, graduated from high school, and then entered the College of Trade and Economics. Hassarama Rijumala in Mumbai. After graduating with honors, he went to the British University of Nottingham Trent University, where he received a degree in business management.
It is customary in decent Indian families to give their offspring a good education, regardless of what future the child chooses for himself. Since childhood, Varun was immersed in the world of cinema and did not intend to become an economist or businessman, but he made his first steps in cinema as an assistant director, not an actor.
Career
Like many other Bollywood actors, Varun's creative biography began in his own family, which has the most direct relationship to cinema. His father is a famous director in India, his uncle Anil is a famous actor, and his older brother Rohit followed in his father's footsteps and also makes films.
In 2012, director Johar, for whom the future actor worked as an assistant, offered him the lead role in his new youth comedy Student of the Year. Varun Dhavan brilliantly coped with this task, having received three different prestigious awards in the category "Debut of the Year", and the film became one of the most successful films of that year.
A couple of years later, Varuna's father invited him to play the main role in his romantic film "I am your hero" (Main Tera Hero), then several more works followed. And each picture with Varun's participation became commercially successful and popular. The young artist had his own army of fans (including in Russia), moreover, he performed in the role of an inveterate heartthrob.
Varun himself did not want to become a hostage to the image, and he decided to change his image. In the 2015 film Badlapur, Varuna's character is a dark and stern young man who is dedicated to revenge for the murder of his wife and son. In the musical of the same year, "Everybody Loves to Dance 2" (ABCD 2), he discovered a dancer in himself.
The actor's most recent work is the image of a stern blacksmith in the 2019 drama "Vice" (Kalank). This film was Varuna's first failure, failing at the box office. In total, the talented young artist has 12 roles in Bollywood cinema, he is still playing the main role of the project "Street Dancer 3D".
Personal life
Until now, Varun is firmly attached to his parental family and ironically jokes in his interviews that he remains a child for his father and mother, no matter what success he achieves. With an actor's romantic relationship, everything is much more complicated. For a long time, there were rumors in the media about love between Varun and his colleague, the charming Aliya Bhat, and then about Dhavan's connection with Shraddha Kapoor. But the actor himself claims that only a strong friendship connects him with many women, since creating a family is a very responsible act, and he is not in a hurry to tie the knot yet.
