Biography
Jessica was born in southern England, Surrey in the small town of Hastings. Her father is Mark Henwick, a typical British born in Zambia when his family was traveling. He became a renowned writer with the urban fantasy series Bite Back. Mark's wife is a modest Chinese woman from Singapore, who gave her daughter Asian features, whom the writer met when he fled from China to Singapore in search of political asylum.
The girl grew up in a creative, prosperous family. Since childhood, the mother was engaged in her all-round education - sports, music, history, culture - everything was given importance. It's no wonder that Jessica wanted to play on stage, transforming into her favorite characters in books and stories that her mother told. After school, young Jesse went to study at the Berkshire theater school, and then performed on the stage of the London theater.
Film career
The beginning of her career in cinema was laid in 2009, when the gifted 17-year-old actress was noticed and invited to join the filming of the children's film St Trinian's 2: The Legend of Fritton's Gold.
