Biography

Polina was born in Volgograd on September 9, 1976. As a child, she and her mother moved to the village of Mikhailovka (Volgograd region), and a few years later the whole family moved to Moscow.

The parents of the future actress were teachers. Polina has a younger brother and sister. What is noteworthy, Agureeva, by her origin, belongs to the family of real Don Cossacks.

Since school age, Polina spent most of her free time reading. And in high school, she definitely decided for herself to become an actress. Moreover, Agureeva often participated in school performances, where she played leading roles.

In 1993, Polina applied to several theater universities and went to four of them. An acquaintance with Pyotr Fomenko, the theater director of GITIS, helped to determine the choice of educational institution. The girl was simply struck by the enthusiasm and attitude of the master to his work.

Career

After successfully graduating from the institute in 1997, Polina Agureeva came to work at the Pyotr Fomenko Workshop theater. Her debut was in the play "Barbarians".

For the main role in the production based on the play "Dowry", the actress won the Golden Mask award. And her work in Life and Fate won the Golden Eagle award.

Agureeva, despite being very busy in her native theater, from time to time accepts offers from other theater directors.

She worked with Oleg Menshikov in his production of Woe from Wit, and also took part in performances by Elena Nevezhina.

The departure of her beloved mentor and director Pyotr Fomenko was a shock for the actress. For a long time she could not get used to this new reality for her.

After a while, the artist tried her hand at directing. Agureeva made a performance based on the poems of Alexander Blok and staged "Giants of the Mountain" based on the famous play by Luigi Pirandello.

Film work

Agereeva did not ignore the world of cinema. Viewers know the actress for her work in such sensational projects as "Liquidation", "Isaev", "Pit".

But Polina made her film debut in 2000 in the film adaptation of the comedy A. S. Griboyedov "Woe from Wit". Agureeva played the role of Lizanka's maid.

In 2004, the actress successfully starred in the film by Sergei Ursulyak "Long Farewell". For the role of actress Lyalya - the mistress of the playwright Smolyanov and the wife of a loser writer Rebrova Agureeva received the Moscow Premiere award, and at the Kinotavr film festival her work was awarded the Best Actress award.

In addition to her acting work, Polina Agureeva was remembered by the audience thanks to the amazing romances that she performs so soulfully. The romances "Ring" and "I don't need you anymore" have become especially popular.

Family life

The first husband of the actress was the director Ivan Vyrypaev. The couple had a son, Peter. Unfortunately, the marriage could not be saved, creative disagreements escalated into family troubles, which led to a break.

The second time Agureeva married a young actor Fyodor Malyshev. In 2015, the star spouses had a son, Timofey.

The actress loves to spend her free time with her family, visits exhibitions and galleries, reads a lot.

Now Agureeva successfully continues her acting career, plays in the theater and acts in films.
