Sheiko Maxim Nikolaevich is the current master of sports in weightlifting. On his account there are many prizes and victories in sports competitions.
Biography
The future weightlifting champion was born in the late 80s on the outskirts of Russia in the city of Kholmsk. As a teenager, Maxim learned about the existence of sports, which he would be engaged in all his life. As soon as the student came to the local weightlifting section, the coach saw potential in him.
Young Sheiko trained with great persistence and the results were not long in coming. The athlete showed his first successes at a local tournament, which were held in honor of the city holiday in the early 2000s. At the age of 16, the young weightlifter succumbed to a barbell of more than two hundred kilograms, he lifted it over his head and broke the world record for the barbell clean and jerk in his weight category at the time of 2004.
In addition to sports achievements, the eminent athlete has not forgotten about mental development. After finishing 11 school classes I decided to get higher education. Graduated from the institute with a degree in sports.
Sports achivments
After an amazing performance at his first first tournament, Maxim began to actively take part in various competitions. A year later, he went to the European Junior Championships and won his second brilliant victory in his favorite sport. Then he took part in competitions in the Canary Islands and in Russia, earned second and third places, respectively.
In 2009 he went to a weightlifting competition in the south of Russia, performed in a group of participants whose weight was less than 105 kg. He practically won, but due to the difference in the lifted weight he received a silver medal.
After 3 years he returned to Europe and again remained with the second place. Then he went to Cheboksary and easily received a gold medal at local competitions. A year after the defeat in the European tournament, he was chosen as an athlete who must carry the Olympic torch in the city of Sochi. Another year later, he won the Russian Cup in weightlifting combined in the usual weight category for Sheiko.
Political activity
Maxim Nikolaevich always had a positive attitude to politics. Long before becoming a member of the legislative assembly of his native city, he supported the political direction "United Russia". He got to his current position due to the resignation of the previous representative of this post. In 2017, Sheiko was selected as a candidate who is able to take this post, he was given a special electoral certificate.
Modern life
In the fall of 2018, the MSMK in weightlifting combined for the first time in a long time performed at the All-Russian tournament in his discipline, came out from the first place. At the moment, he combines political duties and coaching at a children's sports school in the city of Kholmsk. About the personal life of the famous strongman, it is only known that he has a beloved wife and two children.
