Biography
Rupert Grint was born in the small town of Harlow, located in the English county of Essex. The family also had four more children. The not-too-easy life was soon overshadowed by the divorce of the parents. And yet Rupert remained a rather cheerful and not discouraged child. He dreamed of becoming an ice cream man, but soon became interested in theater and thought about an acting career. On his luck, a casting was announced for the role in the movie based on the book "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone". Rupert was 11 years old at the time - just the right age for one of the roles.
Grint realized that he could well play Harry Potter's bosom red-haired friend, Ron Weasley. He approached the casting from the creative side and read a rap about why he should become this character. I liked the performance, and Rupert was approved for the role. The film, and with it the main actors, became famous all over the world.
