The real master of Soviet cinema and theatrical stage - Oleg Efremov - has formed a new perception of acting talent among millions of his fans. It was his play that domestic viewers have always perceived as a simple realization of oneself on a screen or stage.
One of the greatest Soviet theater and film actors, Oleg Efremov, is known to domestic fans of his talent for his many roles in cult films of the past era. There is no doubt that his characters in the films "Three Poplars on Plyushchikha" and "Beware of the Automobile" won the hearts of millions of fans of Russian cinema.
Brief biography of Oleg Efremov
A communal apartment on the Arbat took one Muscovite into the number of its tenants on October 1, 1927, who turned out to be our hero of the story. The best friends in childhood of little Olezhka were the adopted son of Mikhail Bulgakov - Sergei Shilovsky - and Alexander Kaluzhsky (son of the famous actor Vasily Kaluzhsky). Precisely because he often happened to visit the famous writer in Nashchekinsky Lane, Efremov simply imbued his gut with the creative atmosphere that existed there. In many ways, therefore, his future career took shape on the theatrical stage and film sets.
Since the father of the future actor worked in Vorkuta as an accountant in the GULAG, then all his school years were spent in this polar city. And already at the end of the war, an eighteen-year-old guy enters the Moscow Art Theater School on the first try and, together with his classmates, swears in blood to his ideological inspirer - Stanislavsky. This act speaks volumes about the warm hearts of that generation of young artists, because the victorious 1945 was in the yard.
After the Moscow Art Theater, the future idol of millions of domestic fans was accepted into the service at the Central Children's Theater. Here Oleg Efremov gave life to more than twenty characters, gaining very serious experience and popularity. And in 1955, the young talent made his debut in the directorial role by staging the musical comedy "Dimka the Invisible". By the way, after graduating from a theatrical university, Efremov not only continued his professional career as an actor and director, but was also actively involved in teaching.
This is what allowed him, together with a team of like-minded people, to create the Sovremennik theater, famous all over the country today, and subsequently to revive in 1970 as artistic director the then-falling apart temple of Melpomene - the Moscow Art Theater. After a while, his efforts, together with Evgeny Evstigneev, Alexander Kalyagin, Tatyana Doronina and Innokentiy Smoktunovsky, allowed the Moscow Art Theater stage to return to its former glory and greatness. And a few years later the troupe of the theater had grown so much that it had to be divided. From that moment, Oleg Efremov became the head of the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater.
The cinematic achievements of the famous artist are as amazing as the theatrical ones. In this field, Efremov made his debut in 1955 in the film "First Echelon" directed by Mikhail Kalatozov. And then there was the successful and fruitful work of Oleg Nikolaevich in the domestic cinema, which was celebrated almost every year with the most diverse roles.
Personal life of the artist
The first wife of the eminent artist was his classmate at the Moscow Art Theater School Lilia Tolmacheva. But the marriage lasted only six months due to the love of our hero and his addiction to alcohol at that time.
Irina Mazuruk (daughter of a famous polar explorer) became the second wife in the status of "civilian" in 1955. In this family union, a daughter, Anastasia, was born. This relationship came to an end due to a long romance with Nina Doroshina, who brought a lot of confusion to the master's personal life. Efremov regularly parted with this woman and made friends. There was an episode when Nina Doroshina even married Oleg Dal for a couple of months, but once again returned to her heartthrob.
Oleg Nikolaevich's "romantic list" included a lot of women from the world of theater and cinema, among whom Anastasia Vertinskaya and Irina Miroshnichenko managed to be noted. However, all these connections were not destined to grow into something more.
The third and longest marriage of Efremov was his official family union with Alla Pokrovskaya, which was registered in 1962. In this marriage, which cannot be classified as particularly strong because of the regular novels of our hero, the son Mikhail was born (the now famous artist Efremov Jr.).
