Linda Diana Thompson is an American actress, poet, and composer. In 1993, together with her husband David Foster, she was nominated for the Grammy and Oscar for the composition I Have Nothing, performed by W. Houston in the film The Bodyguard.
Linda's acting career began in the late 1970s after breaking up with the famous Elvis Presley. She starred in several television projects for Aaron Spelling, and then for 15 years starred in the comedy musical series "Hee Haw".
As the wife of David Foster, Thompson took an active part in the work of a charitable foundation to help families with children in need of organ transplantation. The organization was founded by her husband in 1985.

Linda Diana was born in the United States in the spring of 1950. She spent her childhood in Memphis. She attended Kingsbury High School. After completing her primary education, she entered Memphis State University in the department of English and drama.
In the early 1970s, Thompson won numerous beauty pageants and received the titles Miss Memphis State, Miss Shelby County and Miss Liberty Bowl. This allowed the girl to pay for further studies at the university.
In 1972, Linda met with the famous singer Elvis Presley. From that moment on, her life completely changed. Interestingly, Linda's first acquaintance with Presley took place in 1968. At that time, she was not yet 18 years old. The second time fate brought Linda and Elvis together in July 1972, when he broke up with his girlfriend Priscilla.

The first man in Linda's life was Elvis Presley. They lived together for about four years and broke up in December 1976.
In 1981, she married the famous athlete Bruce Jenner. In the marriage, the couple had 2 sons. It seemed to Linda that she was living an absolutely happy family life, but in 1985 Bruce confessed to his wife that he dreamed of a sex change. The ideal marriage was completely destroyed: in February 1986, the couple divorced.
The second husband of Thompson was the famous musician, composer and producer David Foster. She got married in the summer of 1991 but broke up in July 2005.
Linda currently lives in Malibu with her two dogs, enjoys sunbathing on the beach, hiking and playing tennis.
