Biography

Danny was born at the end of February 1986 in the capital of Sweden, into a Bolivian-Polish family of immigrants. Here, in Stockholm, the boy received his secondary education, showed his talents in musical creativity at school and chose for himself a future that is inextricably linked with stage performances.

The Saucedo Grzechowski family was highly musical and devout. At the age of five, their son was sent to the church choir of boys (Danny sang in the choir for 17 years!). Then he studied at two music schools at once, one of which was the famous and serious school of Adolf Fredrik.

By the age of sixteen, Danny created his first musical group, called "Raggabousch". The guys played music in the genres of soul, pop and funk.

Career

Saucedo began his career by participating in the television show Idol 2006, where he became one of the finalists. The talented guy liked the famous van der Burg, who works with young promising Swedish performers. Having signed a contract with Sony BMG, one of the companies influential in the world of show business "Big Four", Danny began to prepare materials for the release of his first solo album.

His debut album Heart Beats and three singles Tokyo, Play It for the Girls and Radio topped the Swedish charts. In addition to solo performances, Danny toured vigorously with the E. M. D. together with Matthias Andreasson and Eric Segerstedt. Until 2010, the band released three albums and eight singles, which also became top hits in Swedish pop music.

In 2008 Danny performed in the Swedish version of Dancing with the Stars, finishing 12th with professional dancer Janet Karlsson. In 2012 he took second place at Eurovision with the song Amazing.

Saucedo has worked on voice acting for films, and even made his debut as an extra in the 2003 film Evil. His songs If Only You and Tokyo became popular in Russia and he acquired a large army of Russian fans.

Currently, Danny is actively touring, performing on stage with his own songs written especially for him, and taking part in numerous television shows. By the way, Danny is a real polyglot, he knows about a dozen of the most common foreign languages.

Personal life

The popular singer is a staunch Catholic, and this is reflected in his lifestyle. Modest and reserved, he avoids many of the temptations of popularity, and although the tabloids sometimes try to spread dirty gossip about him, Danny responds with dignity to uncomfortable questions, rejecting any accusations of debauchery or homosexuality. Saucedo dated singer Molly Sunden for six years. In 2016, the couple announced their engagement, but they never became husband and wife, having parted in 2019.
