The famous Russian musician and conductor - Vladimir Spivakov - is known all over the world today. This legendary man is currently identified with the Vladimir Spivakov Foundation and the Russian National Orchestra, which he leads.
Brief biography of Vladimir Spivakov
In 1944, the future talented Jewish musician was born in Bashkiria. Ekaterina Osipovna Weintraub gave birth to Teodora Vladimirovich Spivakov in the city of Chernikovsk (present-day Ufa) Vladimir. Those were the fierce war years and the harsh life in the rear, where the spouse who was discharged from the front for injury worked as an engineer. At the end of the war, the family moved to their native Leningrad.
Despite his Jewish roots, Vladimir was baptized as a child and attended almost all services in Orthodox churches. From that time, he remembers well how their family constantly moved due to the continuous process of improving their living conditions. The moment came when two rich families formed and bought a Stradivarius violin, which they gave for life to the brilliant musician. Since then, Spivakov began to assert that it was not he who taught the violin to sound, but that it was his.
From the age of six, the boy took violin lessons from the famous master B. E. Kruger. An interesting fact from the life of the maestro, when he first heard the musical work of PI Tchaikovsky "Reflection" performed by one of the high school students. Arriving home, Vladimir rehearsed it in such a way that the teacher, who had previously rejected any talent from the boy, was forced to radically change his opinion on this issue.
In 1955, Vladimir Spivakov entered the music school at the Leningrad Conservatory. Around the same time, a gifted young man began to actively develop his talent as an artist, having entered the painting school at the Leningrad Academy of Arts as a volunteer. But when the question of choosing a profession became acute, he still had to give preference to music.
At the age of thirty-five, an accomplished musician begins to pursue the profession of conducting, taking lessons for five years from I. B. Gusman in Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod. And then the country learns about the chamber orchestra "Virtuosos of Moscow", which after a while disintegrates and is recreated in a new form as "Virtuosos". Now Vladimir Teodorovich is becoming a real master and a personality known throughout the musical world.
Personal life of a musician
The first marriage with the pianist Victoria Postnikova brought to light the son of Alexander (the future famous violinist). However, the marriage was not destined to become eternal due to the fact that the wife decides to leave Vladimir for the composer Gennady Rozhdestvensky. And then there was a period of creative growth against the background of a rethinking of human values. This is how real geniuses should meet such blows of fate.
Currently, the talented musician is married for the second time to Sati Sahakyants. In this family union, two daughters were born: Anna and Tatiana. In addition to them, the daughter of Vladimir Teodorovich's sister lives in the Spivakov family, who died early.
