Stephen Dorff is an American actor, producer and director. He is not as famous as many of his colleagues, despite the fact that in his biography there are more than eighty roles in films and TV shows. Dorff is well known to the audience for the film "Blade", in which he played the role of the main villain - the vampire Deacon Frost.
Dorff began his creative career at an early age, he always dreamed of a career in cinema. His acting piggy bank has a large number of roles in completely different genres, from horror films to serious dramas. For his role in the film "Somewhere" the actor received the main prize of the Venice Festival - "Golden Lion".

Stephen was born in the USA, in the summer of 1973, in the family of a famous composer who has written a huge number of musical works for cinema - Steve Dorff and his wife Nancy. The family lived for a long time in Atlanta, and after the birth of their second child they moved to Los Angeles.
From the very birth, the boy was in an atmosphere of creativity. My father was busy writing music and often met at home with famous Hollywood filmmakers, discussing new projects.
Stephen also did not go unnoticed and soon found himself on the set, where he first starred in commercials, and then in cameo roles in various television projects.
At the age of thirteen, Stephen gets the lead role in the fantasy horror film Gateway. The film told about a boy who discovered a huge hole in the yard, which is the entrance to the other world, from where ancient evil begins to creep out to earth. The performance of the young actor was highly appreciated by film critics, he became a nominee for the Saturn Award. The film itself was considered a failure at first. Only a few years later, it gained immense popularity and became a cult painting of the late 80s.
