Fans of the humorous newsreel "Yeralash" are well acquainted with the charming and good-natured characters of Mikhail Kazakov. It was as if he was created for this project, and the textured appearance of the young actor perfectly conveyed the characters of his heroes. Kazakov was also remembered by the audience for the role of Ilya Polezhaikin from the series "Daddy's Daughters".
Childhood, family, "Yeralash"
The biography of Mikhail Sergeevich Kazakov dates back to January 2, 1988 in the city of Kalinin, now called Tver. He was born into a wealthy family where one son already grew up - his older brother Stas. My father was in the soda business. He called the trade mark uncomplicated - with his surname "Kazakov".
Without a lack of financial resources, Mikhail's family traveled a lot. The boy spent his summer holidays outside the city: he rode a bicycle, was engaged in gardening, conducted funny experiments. He studied well at school, although he could be a hooligan.
In 2002, the plump boy was invited to shoot in the Yeralash newsreel. In just two years, the number of episodes with his participation exceeded 20. Due to his young appearance, which did not correspond to his real age, Mikhail starred in Yeralash until he was 16, and not 14, like most other actors. Kazakov can be seen in the following episodes of the children's newsreel:
- "Study, study, study";
- "Disease history";
- "Iron logic";
- "Defender";
- "Object lesson";
- "Lawless Heart".
After participating in "Yeralash", Mikhail had fans, they began to recognize him on the street. At the same time, despite the popularity, hard times came in the life of the young actor. In 2003, the head of the Kazakov family died from stab wounds, but the murderer managed to avoid harsh punishment. He was convicted of exceeding the limits of self-defense. Then Mikhail could not even think that he would soon find himself in a similar situation.
Murder or Self Defense?
In January 2005, the city of Tver was shocked by the news that a local star - Misha Kazakov - was accused of murdering 20-year-old boy Kirill Gurkin. The journalists found out the circumstances of the tragedy from the relatives of the deceased.
On that day, Mikhail was going to the military registration and enlistment office, but on the way he met Slava and Vika - school friends. The girl asked the guys for help. She recently broke up with her boyfriend, but wanted to see him again and finally clarify everything. Slava and Misha needed her for moral support. By the way, before that fateful day, Kazakov had never met Kirill Gurkin, Victoria's ex-boyfriend.
The young people entered the entrance where the murdered man lived and called him in for a conversation. Cyril came down to them with a bottle of beer. Unexpected guests also consumed something intoxicating. A conflict broke out between Vika and her ex-boyfriend, Cyril tried to apply physical force to her. Mikhail could not stay away and rushed to protect the girl. Somewhere a week before the tragedy, they tried to rob him, but Kazakov rebuffed the attacker and took the knife away from him.
In the heat of the fight with this knife, Mikhail struck three blows to Kirill Gurkin - two in the heart and one in the carotid artery. The victim died before the ambulance arrived. His killer was close to the last, trying to stop the heavy bleeding. Kazakov immediately confessed to what he had done. He said that he had never experienced any romantic feelings for Victoria, but simply stood up for the weak in a critical situation.
Classmates, teachers of school number 46, where Mikhail studied, stood up for him. No one believed that this calm, gentle, harmless guy was capable of cold-blooded murder. Moreover, not very good rumors circulated about the murdered Gurkin. His mother was deprived of parental rights, the boy was raised by his grandmother, but in his 20s he did not have a permanent job, he abused alcohol and, according to rumors, took drugs.
While the investigation was underway, Kazakov remained at large, attended school. His case was reclassified from Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (premeditated murder) to Article 108 (exceeding the limits of necessary self-defense). The mother and grandmother of the deceased filed a motion to terminate the criminal case due to the moral and material reconciliation of the parties. As a result, the court acquitted Kazakov.
Return to the profession and later life
After graduating from school, Mikhail left for Moscow, entered the financial and legal academy. He planned to receive two degrees at once: a financier and a translator in the field of information systems. Kazakov did not forget about cinema either: in 2005 he starred in an episode of the thriller "Escape", and in 2006 - in the film "Money Day".
In 2007, the actor was offered a role in the sitcom Daddy's Daughters. According to the plot, his hero, Ilya Vasilyevich Polezhaikin, studied in the ninth grade, and Kazakov was 19 years old at that time. But he was again helped by a rare feature to look much younger than his age. According to the plot, the poor student Polezhaikin studies in the same class with one of the main characters of the series - Galina Sergeevna, who, on the contrary, is extremely intelligent and educated. The girl helps the unlucky classmate in her studies, and later a romantic relationship is struck between them. Mikhail Kazakov took part in all twenty seasons of the series for six years.
As he grew older, the actor began to change, getting rid of the image of a funny fat man. During his time at Daddy's Daughters, he lost about 20 kilograms, reviewing nutrition and adding regular exercise. In addition to filming the series, during this period the actor was engaged in several more projects:
- the TV series "My Fair Nanny 2" - series 169 (2008);
- humorous program "Wick" (2008);
- comedy sketch show "6 frames" (2008, 2011);
- the film "Stroybatya" (2010);
- the film "Shores" (2013).
Kazakov also tried his hand at the theater. He played the role of the cat Behemoth in the play "The Master and Margarita" directed by Sergei Aldonin. The production took place on the stage of the Moscow Stanislavsky Theater.
At some point, Mikhail realized that he no longer wanted to act in films and went into business. In his native Tver, he opened a clothing store, organized a casting agency "KinoDom", and then created its branches in other cities of the country. Kazakov's return to the cinema took place in 2017 in the comedy "President's Vacation", where he played a small role of a traffic police officer.
Personal life
At the age of 20, Mikhail began an affair with a student, Yulia Kotova. The lovers lived together, thought about a wedding, but broke up a year later. Soon, Elena appeared in his life, with whom they had known since adolescence. The girl recently divorced her husband and raised a little daughter, but this circumstance did not become an obstacle for Kazakov. In November 2011, the lovers got married, and in July 2012 they had a son, Miroslav.
